Description

Tynt Meadow is brewed at Mount St. Bernard Abbey near Coalville. All brewing is completed by the monks at the Abbey. This is the primary income stream and with advice from other trappist monasteries, the results provide an excellent English trappist beer.

Tynt Meadow is brewed with English barley and hops, using an English strain of yeast. It is twice-fermented, with the first fermentation taking place in the tank, and the second in the bottle. It should be stored in a cool, dark, quiet place.

This particular ale was brewed in collaboration with Round Corner Brewing in Melton Mowbray to create this rich and full-bodied special bitter with a bready body with hints of citrus and cardamon.
